Ursprung von Gardasee

 Der Bereich von Gardasee hält heutzutage die Spuren link von der Glazialzeit, das wurden gedacht der feststellenursache der Anordnung des Seetiefstands; bis in den neueren Jahren ist es theoretisiert worden, daß der Gletscher einen bereits vorhandenen Tiefstand besetzte, verursacht von Stromabnutzung von 5 bis 6 Million Jahren vor. Die Glazial- Morphologie würde folglich rüber bis eine, ältere, fluvialere und tektonische Morphologie gelegt. Am Anfang von Quartär (1.5 Million Jahren) erschien der Bereich des vorhandenen Seebassins wie eine breite Tal vor, in der Flüsse Chiese (im Bereich von Salò) und Sarca (nahe Riva) floß in. Während des folgenden Glazialzeiten fand die Anordnung des großartig Moränenamphitheaters und folglich die Abweichung des Flusses Chiese statt. Im Norden haben die Anschwemmungen des Flusses Sarca anstatt den Bereich von Riva überwältigt, Geburt zur Höhle von Arco gegeben und die alte Insel von Monte Brione umgeben.
